Missionary stories and post-polio syndrome. What do they have in common? Me! Why post the stories? Because they are unique. No other profoundly affected polio survivor spent 17 years in a very rugged part of the Indonesian province of Papua. Specifically, in the high mountain valley of Korupun, part of the territory of the Kimyal tribe. Most of the stories on Elinor'Spot combine the two themes of polio and missionary experiences in Papua, Indonesia. There is more, including a couple videos about it all at World Team's "Kimyal Tribe " webpage.

This Site also gives information about a special publication for children. "Great Commission Kids" is a quarterly publication created to nurture a passion for missions that will encourage children to be active in the Great Commission throughout their lives. Check it out!

The "GC Kids" mini-magazine is part of what I do as a representative of World Team, the international mission agency under which I worked in Indonesia. Though now "retired" due to disability (post-polio syndrome), I remain as active as my limited energy will allow. I love mentoring future missionaries, editing GC Kids, speaking about missions,  and trying to help God's people catch the passion of God's heart for the world.

For more information about post-polio syndrome see the link at the left side of this page or see another Website I did and is now archived at www.polionet.org.
